Our client has a senior leadership opportunity within the Customs Brokerage and International Freight Forwarding sectors. Long-established leaders, they have a successful record of growth in challenging times.

They have appointed us to present the opportunity to senior sales management people who may be interested in evaluating a serious career option.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for Sales, Customer Service & Marketing for North America
  • International and Domestic Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage & Warehousing on the Northern and Southern Borders
  • A full position description will be provided to qualified candidates

  • Excited to meet with customers, to close new business, and to work with his/her management team  to meet and exceed sales targets

  • Ensures that all team members have the support they require and are efficiently using all of the sales/service tools at their disposal

  • A coach and mentor dedicated to making individual team members perform to their highest potential 
  • Focus on efficiency and consistency in the work flow, using the existing CRM to best advantage in pricing, quoting and closing the sales cycle
  • Able to see both the big picture and cognizant of the importance of overseeing  important details and coordinating solutions between sales and operations
  • Open to travel to close major pieces of business face to face with customers, where warranted and when public health conditions permit this
  • A diplomatic trouble-shooter with customers, a good listener, able to engage with them, build trust and strengthen relationships
  • An excellent negotiator with superior communications skills
  • A lead-from-the-front management style with highly developed interpersonal skills, open, friendly and approachable

Compensation: Senior executive compensation package is entirely negotiable and highly competitive, with impressive incentive income opportunities
