Supervisor, Air Freight Imports – Dorval, QC – exclusive representation

• Supervise a small team of Air Imports Coordinators
• Oversee all customer airfreight shipments inbound
• Key problem-solver and point of contact for customers
• Coordinate with other departments/offices to respond to customer inquiries
• Set up files based on pre-advise
• Arrange trucking and warehouse requirements
• Receive documents from airline or shipper
• Break down and distribute into files and calculate charges
• Invoice shipments according to client rates
• Assure timely billing as per company policy
• Rates and pricing activities for air imports, assisting sales department
• Escalate issues to next management level if required
• Follow SOPs and ensure internal network complies with them
• Any additional task or activity as requested by management
Qualifications:
• 4 to 6 years of Air Imports experience
• Quebec-based international freight forwarding experience
• Fast, accurate, detail-conscious, thorough
• CIFFA education an asset
• IATA training an asset
• Fluent English and French, written and spoken
• Self-motivated, fast learner, strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
Compensation: According to industry experience (60-65K plus profitshare)
